CFATS Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) Public Listening Session
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will be holding public listening sessions and webinars for the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM). DHS intends for each listening session to be a public forum for the discussion of potential revisions to CFATS regulations. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to provide input on aspects of the CFATS program including, but not limited to, the general regulatory approach, treatment of non-traditional chemical facilities, clarity of terminology, Risk-Based Performance Standards, and Appendix A.
Online registration is encouraged as onsite registration will only be available as space permits. A teleconference bridge will be available for certain sessions for those unable to attend in person. Information for the teleconference bridge is provided during online registration. Registration is also available for the webinars and logistics information will be provided during the registration process. Attendance at the in-person sessions and the webinars is free.
